Zain Hussain

Welcome to my page! I'm a 25-year old startup founder from London.

I started my journey in startups as an early employee at Monzo, where I spent four and a half years scaling the scam investigations team, and juggling law school full-time. Shortly after graduating, I left to California to co-found my first company, Trident, building AI tools to fight scams. We were backed by Entrepreneur First, angels from a16z and other brilliant fintech founders.

Now I'm building my next couple ventures, and helping other founders do the same:

• qwip: redesigning cities for how we live and work today – starting with the telephone box. Launching Jan 2026 at London's biggest train station.
• saath: a community-led fund, backing ambitious projects across Nepal, Bangladesh, Pakistan, India, and Sri Lanka.
• hult prize: running the world's largest accelerator program for student-led, social enterprises – we're across 131 countries, and award a $1 million prize each year.

I also work as an actor, with credits across HBO, Netflix, and BBC productions.

Outside of work stuff, I'm an avid traveller and foodie - having been to 66 different countries so far and counting! 🌍
